Hey... know what? For the past 45 years our family has enjoyed all fours seasons at our cottage get-aways near Outing, Minnesota. We've probably driven near 4 'bajillion' miles in all our trips up north and back, with our five little kids in the backseat ('course they never fought), and, boy... it has been worth it!

For all of those years we were pleased to share our cabins with family, friends, clients, and sometimes a limited number of private renters. Unanimously, guests enjoyed all four seasons, from the peak of summer to the solitude of winter!

Now, after nearly 10 years of "putzing", planning, and having fun building our new "post & beam" model cabin at "Roosevelt Pines", the development is complete!

That means the model cabin is finally available for weekend or short-term vacation rentals on a limited basis!

Amenities

We like to call it a "Do-It-Yourself Bed & Breakfast" and we'll send guests a suggested "make-it-easy" menu. Bring your own bed linens (or sleeping bag), towels, etc. and we ask that our guests clean when they leave unless special arrangements are made in advance. You'll find basic spices, utensils, a DVD player, and more than likely popcorn, marshmallows, coco, coffee, and tons of firewood for the firepit, along with a couple of steak grills, sandwich makers, and hot dog or marshmallow sticks. Sure beats complimentary bagels for breakfast at a motel! Plus...there's a great little grocery store just over a mile away. You might even ride one of our bicycles.
